I'm used to staying at Hampton Inns and Drury Inns so this was not as fancy BUT it was extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was quiet and comfortable with a nice TV too. I'd stay there again.
Convenient for downtown.
The complimentary continental breakfast was very poor. By the time we got there, only half an hour before the end of breakfast, there was only dried out bagels and nothing to go with them.
Low ceiling room, musty smell, bathroom small and dirty. Continental breakfast served late in a small corner of the Reception. How can this motel be listed in AAA ?
Mainly because pet-friendly, disappointed no pool, good access to everything we wanted to see, including family here.
We enjoyed the Americana look of the motor inn. Everything was clean, the area the motel was in was a quiet area and dinning was fairly close.
Only discrepancy was that we had booked a smoking room and there were no smoking rooms. However there was a nice porch to sit on and the weather was nice. So no complaints.
I was immediately put at ease because the gentlemen at the desk was friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and veryCLEAN!!!!!!!!
This is a small old fashioned hotel well situated in this small town. The room was comfortable, well lighted, and well equipped.
I was unable to reserve a non-smoking room as there were no more available so I would recommend that more be converted.
This Inn is within walking distance of dining facilties and shopping in town, It was nice not to have to use the car to get all services.
The inn is old fashioned and could use updating.
Very clean, Close to downtown Bennington. We were only there for one night but found it to be comfortable and convenient.
From reviews online we knew what to expect so we were not disappointed. We knew the rooms were not large and that was not a problem. It was the perfect place to rest our head and enjoy a comfortable night. Would recommend to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place for a night or two. Their are times when we are traveling when amenities are more important, but for a short stay where you are going to be out and about during the day and the focus is a good comfortable room it was fine.
Easy to find, very comfortable accommodations, excellent value
Easy access to main highways on our route to NH Friendly staff at check in
We left expensive hearing aids in the room . When we called the next day we were informed they had been found and would be mailed to our home. Six days later we have not received them and when we phoned were told the manager is away for the weekend and no one else can help us. The sound proofing of the rooms is minimal
We stayed at the Bennington Motor Inn while visiting family for the holidays. It was inexpensive, but very clean, comfortable and the staff was very pleasant. The room was quiet, had both mini-fridge and microwave, and was in walking distance to the shops of uptown Bennington. For the price I thought we got a very good deal. The "continental breakfast" served in the hotel lobby looked spare, but we did not partake of it and were happy with being able to keep food in the refrigerator in the room.
Clean, decent bed, everything worked okay.
Had the typical problems of an old place...lack of electrical plugs especially near the computer table, creaky floor, no place to store your stuff, smallish room.
It is OK for stopover but really pretty basic.
Venetian blinds did not keep the room dark at night with lights on the landing left on until very late.
Friendly, extremely clean, always updated and freshly painted. accommodations are wonderful room is equipped with coffee machine - microwave and a little refrigerator
